endless: The Paintings of Yamada Masaaki

Two hundred major works by Masaaki Yamada, an artist known for his striped paintings, are composed in such a way that the arrangement of the stripes creates a viewing sequence of his works.  Designing a continuous wall surface while giving it a certain rhythm was the same as designing an experience of viewing two-dimensional art works in sequence. In addition, we designed a custom-made lighting system to achieve the optimum homogenous color temperature for abstract painting.
